Magento 2 Analytics Measurement Protocol

This module aims to send transactions server-side to a Google Analytics property using the measurement protocol. A lot of transactions got lost in the traditional frontend implementation due to end users not reaching the success page. This module aims to fix this problem by sending the data directly to the property via the measurement protocol.

This module was initially a private repo, but we made this open source by popular demand (and to contribute to the open source community). If you currently use the private repo, you can drop in replace it with this open source variant.

Module Installation

composer require adwise/magento2-gamp

php bin/magento setup:upgrade

Configuration

• Go to Stores > Config > Adwise > Analytics
• Set 'Enable Module' to Yes
• Under Measurement Protocol, enable the Measurement Protocol and configure the various secrets
• Enable (or disable) certain events under "Measurement Protocol"
