This is a port of the pecl php extension php-gender to raw PHP. https://pecl.php.net/package/gender

The public interface is nearly the same, and should be compatible in most cases, but some mixed types have been removed.

Also, the public interface is derived mostly from the PHP docs, as opposed to the original source. This means hidden functionality such as getting by country name instead of constant, and the trace method are not available.
