correlation

Generate and attach correlation identifiers to Laravel request context.

Requirements

Requires PHP 8.5+

Installation

composer require cline/correlation

Usage

// bootstrap/app.php (Laravel 12)
->withMiddleware(function (Middleware $middleware) {
    $middleware->append(\Cline\Correlation\Http\Middleware\AddCorrelationIdentifier::class);
})

// config/correlation.php
'strategy' => 'idempotency',
'context_key' => 'correlationIdentifier',

The default idempotency strategy hashes $request->json() to produce a stable correlation identifier.

// Use Mint (optional) after: composer require cline/mint
'strategy' => 'mint',
'strategies' => [
    'mint' => [
