This is development repository of Digital License Manager.

If you want to download the latest release, please do that from the WordPress.org page.

Installation

The plugin works with composer, to install it run:

composer require gdarko/digital-license-manager

Development

Release Workflow

Releases are automated via GitHub Actions. When you push a version tag, the workflow:

1. Validates version consistency (PHP header, constant, readme.txt)
2. Builds all assets (composer, Gutenberg blocks via bun)
3. Creates a distribution zip (using .distignore)
4. Deploys to WordPress.org (unless -test tag)
5. Creates a GitHub Release

Creating a Release

# Stable release (deploys to WordPress.org)
git tag v1.8.5
git push origin v1.8.5

# Pre-release versions (deploys to WordPress.org)
git tag v1.8.5-beta.1
git push origin v1.8.5-beta.1

# Test release (GitHub only, skips WordPress.org)
git tag v1.8.5-test
git push origin v1.8.5-test

To reduce the vendors directory size (used by GitHub workflow):

bash scripts/clean_up.sh
