Liturgy of the Day as an Amazon Alexa skill available for your daily news brief, using the Liturgical Calendar API.

PSR Compliant: Implements PSR-4 (autoloading), PSR-7 (HTTP messages), PSR-16 (caching), PSR-17 (HTTP factories), and PSR-18 (HTTP client)
Filesystem Caching: Optional PSR-16 cache support with configurable TTL (1 week for metadata, 1 day for calendar)
Internationalization: Supports 8 languages via GNU gettext
SSML Support: Speech Synthesis Markup Language for proper pronunciation
